Royvon was honoured with the coveted Canmol marketing award for its innovation in marketing from Canmol: Wales Marketing Awards from The Chartered Institute of Marketing. The campaign revolved around creating awareness about the level of care taken by the Royvon team. We also wanted to clear the negativity surrounding boarding kennels. The result of the campaign is phenomenal with numerous positive feedbacks from pet owners, pet lovers, existing & prospective customers and an estimated 25% increase in sales.
Canmol recognizes business in Wales with excellence in marketing ideas and execution. The winners are evaluated on their creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, success and effectiveness of the campaigns. The winners were announced at an exclusive ceremony at Cardiff’s Radisson Blu hotel. The Awards are a celebration of excellence in ideas and execution. There’s an emphasis on the fact that marketing extends beyond “the four Ps” hence they’ll be “awards sans frontiers”, without false categories, limits or restrictions.
The company overcame though competition form reputed business local businesses including as South Wales Police, BBC Cymru Wales, Capital Radio, The Welsh Assembly for Wales to win the “Canmol Best of Welsh Marketing 2011“. From being nominated to going on to win the award is a very big achievement for the team.
Royvon used very simple yet effectively marketing tactics. Our Facebook marketing can be considered ground breaking for the industry. The campaign allows owners to see regular updates of their pet during their stay at Royvon. We capture over 400 photos and upload them on Facebook each day. Our strategy was to be transparent in our care for our furry guest. There has been lot said & written about dog kennels and boarding. Our initiative focused on winning the confidence of pet owners and giving them peace of mind while they leave their pets with us.
